South Jordan City has recently completed a comprehensive Parks, Recreation, Trails and Open Space Master Plan. The plan is based on a comprehensive planning process that involved extensive staff and community input as well as research and analysis of the existing parks, open space and trails system in South Jordan City. A leading parks and recreation consulting firm, Green Play, LLC presented the draft plan to the City Council on Tuesday, January 16, 2007. The plan went to the City Council on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 for final adoption.
